灵悟心愈 · AI × Psychology

Every child, their own way. Every stage, its own plan.

We use AI to see each child's personality, talents, and potential.

Every child has their own strengths and their own pace. Each one deserves a growth plan made just for them.

For more than a hundred years, psychology's core tool has stayed the same: two people, talking face to face.

It works, but it's slow: one counselor can really talk with only a handful of people a week.

So most people have never been truly understood by a professional. They've been summed up by a questionnaire, a score, a label.

2,500 years ago, Confucius called for teaching each student as an individual. The hard part was never the idea. It was the numbers.

What AI changes is the numbers. It can hold a real conversation with 10,000 people at once, remember every word, and never get tired.

100,000 people. No two alike.

Here's an example: a district-wide screening. Scroll to see how AI finds the one child in 100,000 who needs to be seen.

Scales screen everyone · AI interviews individuals · Experts support students of concern

① District

100,000 children on one star map.

One universal screening, and every child in the district is seen. Not one is missed.

#038271 · Grade 8

On their mind: friends
Peers: 3 mutual nominations
Strengths: curiosity, humor
What helps: starting from their interests

Sample data

② School

Each school is a star cluster.

Each school sees its own full picture, including which grades and classes need a little more attention.

③ Class

Each line between stars is one child naming another.

One star has no lines at all. Not a single classmate named this child. A scale can't see that. The peer network can.

④ IndividualIllustrative

The AI talked with him one-on-one.

Illustrative scenario, not a real student.

Illustrative scenario
  1. AI:

Has anything at school been wearing you out lately?

  2. Student:

Not really… it's just, at lunch, I never really know where to sit.

  3. AI:

That sounds like a tough part of the day. What do you usually do then?

  4. Student:

Draw, I guess. The art room's open at lunch.

His report isn't a score. It's a few lines written just for him:

"Lunch and the breaks between classes are when he is most often alone. When he talked about drawing, his tone was noticeably more relaxed."

⑤ Back to people

The AI finds him. People stay with him.

From the earliest steps in kindergarten to every stage of life.

One idea, applied at every stage of life: AI sees, then people support.

One map, from age 3 to 18.

In kindergarten, we look at six facets. In primary and secondary school, we look at emotions, behavior, and relationships. As children grow, the way we look at them grows too. One idea stays the same: see, then support.

  1. Ages 3–6 · Kindergarten

Growth Observation and the Inclusive Support Program. AI helps teachers plan lessons, keep records, and draft write-ups, so teachers can spend their time on the children.

  2. Schools · Universities · Mental health screening

灵悟星图 (Lingwu StarMap). Universal screening, AI interviews, and expert follow-up, so children who need a second look don't slip through the cracks. Incoming university students are screened the same way.

  3. Studying abroad

StarPath Study Abroad. An AI assessment sets each student's baseline before they go abroad, so their inner foundation is solid before they leave.

  4. Special families

Psychological support for families who have lost their only child or whose only child is disabled ("special families" under China's family-planning policy).

Screen · Ask · Support

In this example, what AI did and what people did

Screen Ask Support

Screen: A screening scale for every student

Illustrative

  • We use a screening scale we developed ourselves, with separate forms for primary and secondary school.
  • Its cut-offs were calibrated on more than 40,000 local samples.
  • Testing runs in batches in each school's computer lab, so a district's tens of thousands of students are all tested within a month.

Ask: Second-stage AI interviews

Illustrative

  • If the screening shows we should learn more about a student, the AI holds a 15–20 minute structured interview with them, one-on-one.
  • A scale can only ask "yes or no?" An interview can ask "why?"
  • The AI can interview many students at once, so the work isn't limited by how many psychology teachers a school has.
  • Primary school students draw instead of talking.

Support: Targeted expert follow-up

Illustrative

  • Interview results go to the school's psychology teachers.
  • Children who need follow-up are handed over to school psychology teachers, our counselors, and clinical experts.
  • The AI doesn't draw conclusions. People do.

What AI does, and what it doesn't.

We use AI where it's strongest, and we push it as far as it goes. Where it shouldn't act, we hold the line.

What AI does

  • AI interviews It talks one-on-one for 15–20 minutes with each student we need to understand better. It follows an outline written by clinical experts and keeps asking "why?"
  • AI records A teacher speaks a quick note into their phone about how a child did today. AI turns it into an observation record and files it straight into the child's growth record.
  • AI drafts AI drafts each month's observations of daily routines and the "teacher's notes" in each growth record. Nothing counts until the teacher signs off.
  • AI plans lessons Once the teaching team sets next week's theme, AI writes the whole week's curriculum outline and learning-center game cards. Every lesson comes with its own observation points.
  • AI sets baselines Before going abroad, students take a 40-minute online AI assessment. It sets a growth baseline that every later stage is compared against.
  • Algorithms read relationships Peer nominations are drawn as a peer network, and any child no one named is picked out automatically.

What AI doesn't do

  • No conclusions Risk judgments are made by the school's psychology teachers.
  • No labels AI writes down what it saw, not what the child "is."
  • No improvising Scores and report conclusions come from a rule engine. The same data always leads to the same conclusion.
  • No replacing people Once someone who needs help is found, it's always a person who stays with them.

Data security

  1. Rule-based, reviewable scoring

Scores and reports come from a rule engine. Generative AI isn't left to improvise. The same data always leads to the same conclusion.

    Illustrative

  2. Encrypted, school by school

Each school's report is encrypted on its own, and its password is sent separately.

Encryption: Report files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, using a key derived from the file's password with PBKDF2 (SHA-256, 200,000 iterations). Decryption happens offline, in your own browser, and no student names or ID numbers can be found in the file.

    Illustrative

  3. Tiered permissions

Four permission levels (district, school, grade, and class), each seeing only its own data. Homeroom teachers see only their own class.

    Illustrative

  4. The purchaser owns the data

All platform data belongs to the purchasing organization. When the service period ends, all of it can be exported.

    Illustrative

  • Students' raw data is processed and stored within China.
  • All data, in transit and at rest, is protected by Amazon Web Services (AWS) encryption.
  • Every action is recorded in an audit log.
