Why would someone who studied the brain run a kindergarten?
I studied cognitive neuroscience and psychology at The George Washington University, where I researched the brain mechanisms of autism. Later, in clinical work at the Meltzer Center, one regret kept coming up. Many children's difficulties were already visible at three or four. Yet no one saw them until the child started school and the problems had grown.
When I came back to Wuxi, I started with kindergartens, because that's where children can be seen earliest. I soon realized the problem wasn't that teachers didn't care. Each teacher has dozens of children to watch, and the professional tools are all in hospitals.
So we did two things. We turned clinical-grade observation into simple steps teachers can take every day. And we used AI to scale "seeing every child" from one classroom to an entire district.
That is SolaSpheres.
